Drill Hall
Named in honour of the beautiful buildings history, the Drill Hall is the perfect venue for wedding receptions, concerts, conferences and parties. With a large capacity of up to 250 standing guests, the Drill Hall is perfect for special occasion hire. Having recently undergone a large refurbishment, giving the Hall a modern – yet classical look.

The generous stage can be extended for productions and the stage steps can made available if required. Using some of the latest technology, it includes a super-bright projector, a 3m wide screen and professional stage lighting equipment - which is perfect for concerts and theatrical performances. The room also has a fully-integrated sound system.
The system is perfect for presentations, training courses, musical performances, photographic image shows and digital backgrounds. Laptops and ipads can be connected straight into the system, making the hall ideal for business hire.

The hall stage has full stage blackout curtains and the Cavendish Room can be accessed from the rear of the stage to be used as a dressing room, making it an ideal platform for theatrical companies to showcase their talents.
Cavendish Room
The Cavendish Room is fully licensed for civil ceremonies. The room décor has been kept beautiful – yet very neutral – allowing for your chosen wedding colours to blend perfectly. The room can seat up to 60 guests for a beautiful, intimate wedding ceremony.

The Cavendish Room is also an ideal room for business meeting hire. Offering free wifi, broadband, printing and photocopying services, the room can seat around 50 guests. Catering/buffet options are also available.
The room is located on the ground floor of the building, so is easily accessible for guests with mobility issues.
Portland Room
Located on the first floor of Creswell Events Centre, the Portland Room is another perfect room for small functions such as business meetings and events. Slightly larger than the Cavendish Room, the Portland Room is regularly used by small groups and classes and is available at competitive hire rates.
Crags Bar and Lounge
Boasting a 24ft well stocked bar, the Crags Bar and Lounge Area is located right beside the Drill Hall. Offering an ever growing range of gins and some exciting cocktails, the bar is sure to please all guests! A great selection of beers and ciders are also available along with hot beverages.
Disabled facilities
Creswell Events Centre meets all government guidelines regarding the provision of disabled facilities. Disabled toilet facilities are available and a chair lift is available to access the first floor Portland Room. A baby changing facility is located in the disabled toilet
